Ladies in red! The hue commanded attention on the red carpet, as a slew of stars opted to rock the bold hue. Who do you think looked more striking in the shade? VOTE.

Red was the color of the night at the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Aug. 25 at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in LA, where so many of the leading ladies of the night stood out in the shade. It was like a sea of red on the red carpet — but each and every star managed to totally own the hue in one dress after another. From Claire Danes to Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Mad Men stars January Jones and Christina Hendricks, see who sported the shade here!

Emmys 2014 — Red Dresses Are The Hottest Trend Of The Night:

Fresh off shooting the upcoming season of Homeland, Claire Danes touched down in LA to attend the award show. Although the best actress nominee admitted she was tired, it definitely didn’t show as she sported a sleeveless Givenchy gown in a bold red hue. While Carrie Mathison may prefer pantsuits, we rather see Claire in a fabulous frock any day!
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, big winner of the night for her role in Veep, looked regal in a redCarolina Herrera gown — and although it wasn’t as talked about as her impromptu make out with Bryan Cranston, but she looked sexy, chic, and sophisticated in the shade.
While these ladies in red totally captivated our attention, see who else sported the shade & VOTE for who YOU think rocked the best look of the night.
