Made In Chelsea New York: Billie PLAYED Stevie, They’d Been Dating For Weeks Off-Camera – EXCLUSIVE

He finally got what we wanted.

But if there’s one person that doesn’t approve of the Billie/Stevie romance on Made in Chelsea: New York, it’s Lucy Watson.
The 23-year-old reality star revealed to us that she thought new cast member Billie Carroll, 22, was PLAYING her former flat-mate Stevie Johnson, 25 off-camera.

Speaking to us at the Scottish Fashion Awards on Monday (1 September), she told us it annoyed her that it came across as a fling when the pair had been dating for a while before filming.

Billie and Stevie had been seeing each other for a couple of weeks [but] it doesn’t really come across when you’re watching it and that annoyed me because I felt like she was playing him,” she says.

She added that Stevie is like family to her and she can’t help but look out for him when it comes to girls.

“I am very protective of him, he’s like a brother to me. He can look after himself though, I’m sure, to a certain extent!” she says.

“The new guys didn’t really do it for me. The guys that they brought on that were involved in the show were not really my style,” she says.
Well it doesn’t help that the guy that hit on her (Jules) also made a move on one of her biggest MIC enemies, Rosie Fortescue. 

Spencer also tried to win Billie's affections [E4]We also chatted to Proudlock, 28, who told us he was always backing his boy Stevie when it came to the on-screen love triangle.

“I’ve obviously been there backing up Stevie, Stefan as I call him, he’s my boy,” says Prudders. 

“He actually decided to leave Stefan in New York, we brought back Stevie. 

“Stefan was too player, we decided. He’s a great guy and he got Billie in the end, in the last episode, but we’ll see what happens with that.”

Proudlock has recently split from his long-term girlfriend [Instagram]Jamie Laing’s buddy has recently split with his long-term girlfriend, model Grace McGovern, and told us it’s difficult finding girls that aren’t trying it on for his fame.

“Sometimes it’s hard to tell whether someone’s actually into you or not. It just depends who you’re hanging with,” he says.

Proudlock and Grace were together for two years before the split [Instagram]He’s still getting used to being single but told us he’s not looking for anything serious (that might explain those rather raunchy pics of him looking lips with a girl at a club this weekend).

“Grace and I have been separated for three months, maybe four. It’s a weird adjustment. We were together for two years. She’s an amazing girl, we still love each other very much,” he says.

“It’s just timing. I think I just need to have fun for a little bit and then think about a relationship later down the line.”
