The fact that Cara was only wearing a pair of high-waisted black hotpants underneath the sheer, lace gown certainly had people talking… and falling.
While inside the bash, Delevingne — who frequently pals around with Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez — went up to chat with fashion designer Jonathan Saunders, but inadvertently tackled him to the ground. Apparently those gorgeous black boots were a bit tricky to walk in. At least she didn’t have a wardrobe malfunction, right?
Simmons actually Instagrammed a photo of Cara's fancy footwear on Wednesday. "This boot is now officially named after you my darling!!!!! Looking Amazing as always at the #GQawards #uk #bestdressed #love," she shared.
Saunders clearly didn't mind ending up on the ground with the supermodel; he was seen laughing and helping her back to her feet.

Cara also brushed off the incident, tweeting on Wednesday how much fun she had at the event, where she presented the Solo Artist Award to Pharrell Williams.

As for that thing on her lip (is it a mini pipe? A push pin?), we're not the only ones left scratching our heads. Elle magazine even referred to it as "the weirdest accessory we've seen since Pharrell's Smokey the Bear hat, one I'm not even sure what it is."
Sheer seemed to be the trend of the night as Kim Kardashian — who attended the fete with Kanye West — wore a custom Ralph & Russo Couture beaded skirt with a Atsuko Kudo bodysuit. The 33-year-old reality star was dubbed GQ's Woman of the Year.
"What a huge honor to win Woman of the Year. It’s so special," she exclaimed. "I want to thank my husband for making me feel like the Woman of the Year every single day."
Other stars at the soiree included Pippa Middleton, Lindsay Lohan, Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, Colin Firth, Sam Smith, and Jonah Hill.
